nice job on the catch and the release, he looks like he is in the 16-18 inch range. I love fishing too, I've got a camp here in NY thats loaded with largemouth and northern pike, the state record largemouth was caught in there a couple years ago by some dude fishing off his dock with a hook and bobber lol
If ya get the chance, get yourself a nice spinner bait and put a twister tail rubber worm on the end so it sticks out a little farther than the skirt of the spinner bait.... the pike and all sorts of bass LOVE !!! it works a better in a shallower water, but if you let sink for a couple seconds it'll work the same in deeper water too...good luck !!!

I caught one once. He was way to small so I put him back would love to hook up on one of those monster bass you them them catch on TV.
nothing like hooking one of them...that was the biggest bass eva for me...now i have caught some pretty big cat fish b4...just don't give up...patience pays off in fishing...i luv it!
