Default What brand should I go for clutch kit?

Hi stangs I am looking for help on what brand should I go for a clutch kit. I think I should go with stage 2 because sometimes it slips. I'm trying to keep it under 400$.
-Also, should I go with aluminum drive shaft?
-Will a lighter flywheel put less presure on the syncros? And is it a good idea to put a lighter flywheel on a 2000 4.6 gt?
-Another topic, should I go for stage 2 head swap or stage 3 headswap, just trying to get it around 340 hp?
I appreciate all you help thanks

Oh BTW if you are only doing around 340 HP a stage 2 will be more then enough.

Cool Topics

Spec, I just put one on my car you will be more than satisfied. An aluminum driveshaft would be a nice addition and will give you nicer shifting. If the car is driven a lot on the street I would not go with the lighter flywheel which im guessing you mean aluminum? Plus the extra 200$ isn't really worth it since the 4.6 motors already love to rev. If you were using it for track duty then you may want to consider aluminum but for the street billit steel is just fine. Stage 2 heads will be more than plenty.

Well I decided to get the f1 stage 2 11" clutch kit and is pretty much the same thing as a king cobra clutch. It came with 12lb aluminum flywheel and the throw out bearing looks like a higher performance than the stock one. says that supports up to 514 hp.
Not bad I guess
