Cobra R spoiler on a 2002 GT convertible?

I have been toying with the idea of putting a Cobra R spoiler on my 2002 GT convertible. The stock spoiler is broken, you cannot see where it is broken (it is on the left hand side, underneath where the post that holds it down used to be). There is a screw holding the front part of that side down, and about every three weeks it starts to rattle. A picture of the car is on my profile if you want to look. I am not going to try to turn it into a clone or anything, I just like the way the Cobra R spoiler looks, I am just not sure how it would look on my Mustang. Do you think it would look cool? Or ridiculous? Or is there another spoiler that you think would look better? I have been trying to photoshop it, but I am horrible at photoshop, so I am not getting any help there.

My personal opion would be that it would look ridiculous on yours only because it is a convertible...only looks good on the hardtop...if i was you i would get the steeda wing w/ the billet inserts...it would look so nasty on your car

I would not think it would look all that good because of your car being a vert. But it is your car.

I was trying to get a pic for you of the steeda street wing for the 99-04's, not the race wing, but i dont think they make it anymore. I think that would look great. Im not a big fan of the cobra r spoiler(might as well be a whale tale). But if you like it i say go for it.

That wing only goes good with the Cobra R itself

Too much wing for a vert.

Personally i dont think it would look all that great with it being covertible. The only way i like it is on a cobra r, or maybe as long as the car is a coupe and has chrome wheels. I think the roush or saleen spoiler looks slick on our GT's.

my fav is still the salleen extreme wing. im so happy i got one i love the look of it. only problem is it looks like the car is jacked up in the air now. i need to lower it so it will look smoother. think i might get H&R super sport springs and d-spec shocks and struts soon to make it look like it all goes together.

cobra R?????

Well in my opinion the cobra r is also made for racing applications. I am a R fanatic and the purpose for that car is most track use. That is why it has a big spoiler. If you go with R spoiler I do agree with the last posts, it won't look balance with you vert mustang. You at least need to get that front bumper and R wheels to keep that balance good, but its your taste, that is what is all about. I will go for that same spoiler which is the last thing I need, and HP LOL

Thanks

Hey thanks for all the replies, I really was on the fence about this, which is why I posted here. I am going to check out all the wings you have suggested, if you have and can post links to them, that would be appreciated, but no worries, I will do a search for all the one you suggested. I will keep checking this for more ideas, and thanks again.
