Default Help on gears: FRPP v.s Eibach ???

Alrighty, I've got some extra cash for my car and I wanna do my gears sooo bad, but I've been advised to go with the springs first. I go back to school in like 3 weeks so I hope I can get both jobs done before then but for now I need help with the spring job. Obviously the Eibach Pro kit is very popular, but I'm also reading about the FRPP B springs. I was set on the Eibach kit until I noticed a few threads that pointed out that I will definitely need CC plates. Is this true ? I just got some new tires so I dont want to mess them up too fast. If I have to buy the CC plates I probably wont be able to do the gears before I go back to school. I've read that the B springs keep the car within specs and I can get away without the CC plates. Does anyone know more about this or have a knowledgable opinion.

I am aware that the Eibach has a lower stance but since the B springs are cheaper I'm thinking I can deal with a little taller look, especially if I wont need the CC plates.

I put the FRPP C spring on my 02 GT. Very happy I went with them, it significantley lowered the car and gives it an awesome stance. You do not need CC plates with these, and the car handles great now. I can take my hands off the wheel doing any speed and it drives completley straight. The ride quality is alsom gonna be better with the FRPP springs, you are gonna feel alot of bumps with the eibachs. i just put mine in a month ago and am very happy I did, you will bottom out everywhere with the eibachs!! im done my gears next as well lol

I have the C springs currently and I needed CC plates as well as a bumpsteer kit to correct my alignment...

It is different with every car. From what I have seen though I am one of the few people who have had too much trouble with the C springs. That is why I decided to go with a much lower spring in the future. lol

The C springs are a nice compromise, they give you a noticeably lower stance but do not give to harsh of a ride either. I think they are one of best choices for people who daily drive their car. Not to mention they are cheap and easy to put on.

as long as you mark all the bolts on the cc plates you should not need an allignment. If you dont wanna bottom out everywhere then get the c springs.
