Default Should I buy a used aluminum driveshaft??

Hello stangs out there...

Is it a good idea to buy a used aluminum drive shaft? Or should I get a new one? I will only spent around 60 to 100 dollars more. Please let me know what you guys thing. Thanks all

I don't see anything wrong with a used one as long as the seller lets you take it to a driveshaft place to have it checked out. I like saving money buying used whenever possible.

It would suck to put it on and find out its out of balance all to save 60 bucks!

New! Used is a gamble, and new is always, always better. Not much more $$$, either.

I definitely wouldnt go as far to say new is ALWAYS better, if you know the person and he will garauntee its balanced it would be worth it. Do you know why he is selling it?

for 60 bucks i would just buy the new one.....that way you know what you got and if something is wrong with it it will be replaced for you

for 60 bucks i would be on the safe side and buy a new one, so if somthing does happen it will be replaced. if you know who is selling it then maybe

Is an ebay item but i think I will go for the new. Hopefully I will get 14's flat here in Tucson 3200foot of sea level. Thanks

No.. get the Power House, and no worries. A saftey loop would also be good.
