might be true this year charlie, wasnt so awful long ago there was a large consensus of engine builders swearing by slick 50 as well. as far as mobil 1 not being full synthetic id like to see where you got that info, besides royal purples own marketing.
That is what I have heard about Mobil 1...don't know if it's true...I don't think Mobil 1 is a bad oil at all...it's my second choice...because I did see where they ran a nascar engine for 250k at 8 or 9k rpm...i forget what the rpm's where, but i know it was high...but anyways when the drained the oil and took the engine apart...it should no wear what so ever.
But as for Royal Purple...I like it because I can tell a dif...In the way my ride runs now...smoother and quiker.
My first choice is Royal Purple
Second is Mobil 1

My first choice is Mobil 1 then RP (because RP can expensive lol) I really got to try it out though. Maybe after I use all my Mobil 1 oil I got for two oil changes then I'll try RP.

You mean 5w30 rp?...you can order it from any online auto part store...i get mine from 50.resto the have it for 6.99 and my auto store here wants 7.50 for it....auto-zone and pepboys should carry it!
