Gears would be a good mod and wont hurt your gas mileage TOO much. Then go with exhaust followed by cai and a tune. The Bullitts do come lower than the GT due to the springs they put on it. You could drop it a little more but personally i would leave it like it is, just add upper/lower control arms and subframe connectors and you will be good to go. I wouldnt change too much on the appearance, the Bullitt is a beautiful car.

Oh trust me i enjoy every minute i drive that car. But I was looking at some of the Bassani and Magnaflow pipe's, kinda pricey but i'm sure it's the sound i'm looking for from reading other posts, but what's the difference between the composite and stainless pipes on the bassani x-pipe. I know the stainless won't rust, so i'm guessing the composite pipe eventually will? And are these cars required to have cats or does that just depend on the county?

Having cats on the car depends on state. Yeah stainless is supposed too last longer, but is about 100 bucks more. If your thinking of getting magnaflows with bassani x pipe its gonna sound pretty damn good, gives kinda a different tone that most of the other stangs wont have.

Ya he sure didn't go light on the expense on the exhaust system either lol, is it really worth putting on headers, long or short. I had them on my 69 Mustang but remember now how expensive they are.

I'm in CS twice each week for business, driving my red 2008 C/S (College Station) Special Edition.
haha nice, i like that. i'm sure i've seen your car around then, it's hard for any mustang to go unnoticed by me here. From Houston i see, that's actually where i bought the car from, maybe you've seen it around there a time or two.
