ok has anyone seen or heard of the conversion kits for 99-04 that make your front end look like a 05. i didnt like it at first but it has really grown on me. looking at it for my 04 gt.
yea..i saw that somewere also looking for stuff for my car but i didn't like it at all....

I've seen the kit before but to be honest with you, if I wanted the look of the S197 then I would just get one, plus you get the 40hp boost they have over the new edge It would be something rare though.

There's a post from about 2 weeks ago with a guy selling one, he posted pics with it, I'm not a big fan of the look, but if that's what floats your boat more power to you.

Ehhh man that does not look good at all, just my opinion. It would stand out and be different, but why would you want to make a new edge look like a S197? I mean if you want it to look like one then get one. But its all about what you wanna do.

I think the only reason someone should get a kit like that is if they have put a tone of work/money in there car, but like the newer body style. I personally like the look of the 197s, but they are to big IMO (second biggest mustang ever). I like the size of the new edge, they are not to big. Plus they can be made to handle just as well, the kit is only to make it look different. The second one is way to rice, but the first one didnt look to bad.

Yeah I test drove a 08 Gt and a 03 Gt and they both felt about the same as far as acceleration but the 08 just felt like a big car I didn't like it much and also the interior is not the best. Yeah the 08 had 40 more hp and 18 more ft lbs but it weighs almost 300lbs more. The 03 was much better on the interior. So then I bought a maxima for my DD. lol oh well.
