Unhappy 1998 Mustang GT Phantom Code Issue.

I have been having issues with my GT as of late.

At first, my car would suffer a loss of HP from a stop, you'd give it a little gas, and you could hear the engine try to react, but you'd get nearly no output from the engine for a hand-full of seconds, and then it would take off like a bat out of Hell, before giving you the output you wanted in the first place.

I thought fuel injectors.

It didn't matter how much pedal you put in to it, same result.

But, no Check Engine Light.

Then, it came on.

Tah-dah!

Maybe it'll solve my torment!?

As I was driving home that night after work to get my code reader, it started idling rough.

VERY rough.

I'd slow down from going 35-40 mph, and it would shake violently.

The problem has since become even worse and occurs much more often, as does the loss of HP.

..The only code it keeps popping out is P0352-1 (Just saying that off memory, I believe it's accurate), for the Ignition Coil B, primary circuit fault.

I've replaced both coils out of pocket and had the boots, wires and connections checked by our family's mechanic.

We've taken it to Ford, they said they had no idea, sans the off chance it might be the fuel injectors, even though they typically outlive the car itself with no issues...

The other thoughts I was given were: The 02 Sensor going bad, a possible timing belt (Though, I was told this one was doubtful, as it was checked three months ago, the issue has gone on for about two..)

I asked my next-door neighbor, who had the exact same year and spec of a Mustang, and he said he had nothing for me.

Any help?

Try cleaning the iac, and look for vacuum leaks. Mustangs have a timing chain, not a belt, so it should be a problem and if it was it would probably effect it more at higher rpms. Also check the spark plugs, its a good idea to run motorcraft copper core plugs in our cars, they work much better than platinums and all those multi- ground plugs which are crap and shoud the spark from the fuel.
