Default new mods for 04

Is there anything I need to know bfor I install my Plenum and Throttle Body? do I just take old one off and match up the parts? anyone with some tips of how to do it would be nice

Its a pretty easy install but some say you need an impact driver for throttle position senser screws on the TB. Mine came out easy but apparently not all of them do. Other than that its just matching up the connections from the old TB/plenum(from what I remember anyway).

Its pretty simple, the hardest thing i found for me was the TPS sensor screws, i layed the part on the floor and with someone holding it, i pushed down on it really hard with my body weight and i got the screws to unlock finally. Other than that its pretty simple.

No, there's no need for an impact driver for the TPS screws, the case on that thing is plastic and an impact driver might split it.


Once you've got the new parts on, check your TPS voltage at idle. It should be 0.995-0.999 volts DC.

You're going to get a noticable increase in throttle response and gas mileage moreso than power, but definitely worthwhile mods.
