Default Help with finding the right H-Pipe?

Hey AFM, I have a 2004 Mustang GT and more than likely i am goin With the Magnaflow Catbacks exhaust system.. I aslo want to Put an H-Pipe but i dunno what would be the best brand for that really deep loud sound.. Any Hints?

The H pipe won't have much effect on the sound unless you are dumping the cats.

There are lots of good companies out there like BBK, Bassani...

By the way, I have the Magnaflows on my Roush and I love the sound!

I personally like my MAC off road H (if you can run it in your state) it provides a really good sounding idle and its not to crazy loud inside.

here is an example of mine



its really a two step limiter video but you get what i mean.

As far as magnaflow, normally from what i have heard a straight through muffler as magnaflow, typically sounds better with an X vs a H, H pipes sound alot better with a Chambered muffler like mac or flowmaster (mac )

Personally I like the sound and power of the mac prochamber.

I have Mac prochamber or/H pipe with magnapacks. sounds sick man u will not be dissapointed, nice deep muscle car soound. goes great with the magnapacks. and no annoying drone

Mac Prochamber....deep sound at idle and screams at WOT. IMO it gets you more hp than any other H pipe.

the mac kinda looks like a shoe box lol. i believe it has the benefits of a x pipe, but the sound of a H. def mac prochamber FTW!!!!! best mid pipe out there IMO great price too

Mac Prochamber is the best sounding midpipe on the market. Couple that with the Mac catback and you've got an incredibly powerful sound. Beware though, it's also very loud.
