Default Front end shocks

I think I need new shocks. I got a lot of squeaking going on. Anyone got a recommendation? An inexpensive recommendation. thanks.

I would spary a little PB Blaster or WD40 around the bushings before dropping the cash for new struts simply for a squeak.

if the strut is busted or damaged nothing will fix it but i would try to spray some wd as mentioned above or maybe grease it up some.

As far as struts

i really like my strange 10way adjustables. i have them normally on 3 sets before full soft and it rides nice daily and still lifts hard at track. you can also set the to full stiff but i enjoy having a spleen.

If its squeaking I'd check out the bushings and tierod ends before getting struts, the might not be the problem. Also look at the swaybar bushings.

how many miles on it?
shocks and struts are usally all used up by 80k or so and does the car have aftermarket springs or stock? check the spring isolators, check the lower control arm bushing too, those you can also spray wth WD-40 or the likes....

Sounds like you have a tierod or balljoint that needs replacing.
