Silver 2002 Mustang GT! What Color racing stripes are best? =)
Hi guys. Looking to put racing stripes on my silver 2002 GT. Was thinking either black or maybe a middle to dark grey. Any opinions or pics of a silver GT with stripes? Was thinking 9 1/2" to 10" or so.
What does everyone think? The interior is black leather if that matters. And I've got the raised hood scoop (like the Bullitt).
I personally have been a fan of the black stripes on a silver or grey body. However there are two other colors that people like for silver and thats red or blue. But if you choose one of those you have to make sure its the right red or blue, if not it may look pretty bad.
I agree. Dark red or blue stripes would be cool, and very different.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails
I thought about it, and here are the four colors that have potential to look good. Black, Red, Blue, Green. Red Blue and Green would have to be fairly dark though.
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm thinking black might be the safest but still thinking about it. Blue is actually a sweet idea I hadn't thought about that.
The shop I checked at said it's a long job so it might be around $500 ($420 or so USD) altogether for the labour and the stripes themselves. Is that reasonable?
