I have 275/40R17 all the way around right now and I like it, gives the car a good look. I am preparing to step mine up to 315 in the back just keep in mind you're gonna have to go to a deep dish 10.5 inch rim in the back. Also keep in mind the only way for you to rotate your tires is gonna be from rim to rim seeing as how your front and rear tires will be two different sizes.

Well right now I have Fuzion ZRi's on the car but I'm gonna step up to BF Goodrich G-Force Sports when I get home and change my rims.

I'm a big fan of the nitto 555 extreme's, they hook good and have reasonable treadwear. I had falken azenis before these, they lasted a long time and were the quietest tires I've ever had, but the traction was doo-doo.

Good Year Eagle GS-D3's are overall the best tire I ever put on a Mustang. Expensive as hell, but they have gobs of traction and wear fairly well. If you want to step up to a 275 width, I would highly recommend a 9 inch rim. You can stuff the 275 on the OE rims, but you have so much bulge past the rim that it actually hurts traction.

i have the bfg g force sports and they are pretty good. its starting to get really cold up here though so traction is not too good. definitely not a late fall to early spring tire. for new england weather at least.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

Default I changed to the Eagles.

I had the BFG g force sports @ 295-35-18 on the rears and 245-40-18s on the front.

I have since switched to the Eagle F1 all seasons and they are great. The only thing is I went with 255-40-18 on the rear and should have done 275 I think. I mean with the 245-40-18's on the front the 55's on the back look and handle better than the 295's, but 275s would have looked better with the offset that the Centerline rims have.

What do you think?

Jon.
