ALRIGHT GUYS ARE YOU READY FOR THE MOST CHALLENGING QUESTION HERE?

I WANT TO KNOW FOR REAL WHAT IS THE ACTUAL HORSEPOWER RATING ON THE 03-04 MACH 1s BECAUSE FORD SAYS THAT ITS 305 BUT I HAVE YET TO MEET A V8 MUSTANG OWNER THAT AGREES WITH THIS! SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME FORD INTENTIONALLY UNDERATES IT BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED IN 1999 WITH THE COBRA. SO DOES THE MACH 1 HAVE MORE OR LESS HP THAN A 2001 COBRA. DOESNT THE MACH 1 HAVE THE SAME ENGINE AS A 2001 COBRA BUT WITH 2003 COBRA HEADS AND TONS OF OTHER GOODIES IN THE ENGINE? AND WITH ALL THAT HOW DOES IT HAVE LESS HP?!?!?!? TO ME THAT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE.

Ford rated the 03 Mach 1 at 305hp and then the next year for the 04's it was 310hp so who knows. The dyno and track will be the best proving ground for how much they are really putting down.

go with the mach1. the cobra is nice though. 03-04 mustangs are more reliable. i would go newer before older if i had a choice.
