Hey will headers from a pi head setup fit a non-pi head setup, because i have a 97 GT right now and was thinkinh of getting headers but really want to change the heads eventually so i was hoping someone could tell me if they are interchangeable...and another question Longtubes or shorties?
long tubes by far pain in the butt to put them in but hay they are worth it, adds more power and make it a little louder. but if ur state has emission rules you might not pass

Yup, you will be fine, the exhaust ports are in the same location and the manifolds/headers are interchangeable. Lt's are well worth the pain, don't bother with shorties.

That hunk of junk? Yeah, well I've made a few special modifications to that yellow 99 Gt, it makes the Kessel run in 12 parsecs and eats turbo japs and poops chevy's

Okay that is good to know for long tube headers is there a brand name i should go towards buying and ones i should stay away from?? money not an option!!
If money is no option, kooks seem to be the best, but I don't know if they're worth the extra cost. Ceramic coatings is a great idea, it helps keep the underhood temps down, LT's radiate a lot of heat due to the extra surface area. BBK and Mac both make good headers.

I've used hooker on other cars and they make great products, although I haven't used them on a 4.6, I expect they will be quality headers.
