Default will a 02 gt motor fit in my 67 coupe

my brother wrecked his 02 gt and i want to put the motor in my 67 but i dont know if it will fit i have the computer and the wiring harness and im not sure it i will be able to start with just the harness and the computer can i put on a different ignition setup to the computer to crank it

Might need some cutting on the shock towers.

You'll need to modify the k-member to accept the modular motor, a trans with a modular bellhousing pattern, different driveshaft, upgrade the fuel system to injection, the cooling system, intake piping, exhaust, etc. It will be a very involved project, but it can be done. I saw one at a car show about a year ago, the guy said he ran into a lot of issues along the way, but in the end he was very happy with it. Having a wrecked car to pull parts from will help a lot, but it won't be simple.

i have a totalled gt at the house with the transmission fuel system and every thing im just wondering how could i get the computer to crank it if i made it fit

It can be done but like racin366 said the shock towers need to be seriously modified or deleted. If you delete them there are kits for it.

I would do it! If you have the car the parts come from, I would take the inner fenders, and while you were at it, the rest of the front suspention too... and the back...
