I'm wanting to replace all of the stock rubber bushings with polyurethane bushings. I recently replaced the brake fluid, and noticed how nasty and broken up two of the rubber bushings that I could see were. Does anyone know of a complete set of polyurethane bushings? I've seen a few kits but they were both missing bushings that I saw on other websites. Is there a list of all of the replaceable bushings somewhere, or does anyone know any of the less frequently replaced bushings off the top of their head? It seems like there should be a lot more bushings than these sites have.

My 99 Cobra is all urethane and as far a about 4 years ago when I did it I couldn't find one. Had to piece it together.

I don't know of any complete kits, you could try energy suspension, they would be most likely to have it. A few things you don't want polyeurethane, on a street car you won't want poly motor or trans mounts, it will be very rough and noisy. I'm not an expert of the irs for the cobra, but most cars' rear upper control arms will bind with poly bushings. Other than that, just lube them properly or they will squeak, but they work good and really stiffen up the handling.

Energy and prothane have the widest selection of full kits. Maximum Motorsports may have one. If they don't make a full package right now, you'll have to piece one together.

So rear upper control arm bushings are a bad idea? If the stock bushing is torn up should i replace it with another rubber one? Also where did you buy your bushings? was it from one site or multiple?

Yeah, on the rear upper control arms, if they need new ones go with rubber, due to the way to control arms move the high durometer of the polyeurethane ones can cause binding.
