I tried to do the swap once I had a 351 windsor and I was going to swap it into a v6 mustang from 2002. Its alot of work youd need:
New tranny
motor mounts
Entire exhaust system headers and all
A radiator
Suspention
New Rear end
Drive shaft
wire job
Computer
Maybe you can get rid of the fuel injected and change to carb to avoid computer problems but then you wouldnt pass emissions

If you are really intent on doing this good luck Id love to see it when you finish so many people say it cant be done but there was a shop that made a v6 s197 mustang into a 428 cobra jet. so good luck!

Default ths is for the best

dude i wanted to do that so i can avoid the insurance fees. dude u will need engine mounts, wire harness and computer, shocks and struts in the front to handle the weight, 8.8 rear end and i recommend 3.73, it will run u about 5000 with laboror more, u r better off doing a vortech supercharger, like i am doing for like 3200 with everything.
