Default Cai vs rai!!!

Cold Air Intake Vs Raim Air Intake 2000-2004 mustang gt

Much like a cold air intake, the Ram Air Intake (RAI) pulls in cooler air from outside the engine compartment. Unlike a CAI, though, the Ram Air uses a shorter tube, which causes the air to be pushed into the throttle body with much greater force. There is a larger volume of air which, in turn, leads to more engine power.
As you increase the speed of your mustang, wind pressure is forced through the intake manifold and filter. It’s almost like having a turbo charger, but without the additional parts. The downside to the Ram Air is that it will not be very noticeable until you are traveling more than 35 miles per hour.

i found this at Americanmuscle.com all i've heard is that CAI and RAi do the same thing and give the same power.

I,m searching for info about cai's and i don´t believe much about the 20 & 30hp gains that are promised by the sellers...............

By now i have ordered k&n's original replacement air filter, but i don't think to really get a notable gain.... maybe 3 o 4hp's???

In the way to Ram air,i suppose it will be similar as motorbikes, but you need an special hood for that, don't you???

Maybe some guy here has dyno differences between stock and cai/rai's.... it would be great!!!

regards!

You can never believe the companies' boasted HP gains. They do that for sales, 20 HP for an intake? are you kidding me? 15-20 for shorty headers? Please.

The power difference will not be that different between the two. Just get a CAI from AM that's $65.
