Has anyone ever heard of Mod house in Dalton Ga. The place that I bought my car from said that it was dyno tuned there however when I bought it it still had the stock fuel pump and the fuel was cutting out at like 5k rpms I upgraded that to a SVT focus pump but I need to know if it has been dyno tuned and if so wouldn't it have needed the larger fuel pump before the tune. So if any one has ever heard of Mod house in Dalton Georgia I couldn't find them on the Internet anywhere. If I had their number I could ask them if they tuned my car. Sorry for all the questions I don't know much about the 4.6 yet oh and thanks for any replies.

Till you find out, i still wouldn't do any WOT past 5K, just incase. Also, never heard of them. I would get another dyno tune anyways since you've upgraded now.

Likewise I would have it Dyno tuned. I put a procharger p1sc1 with 12# of boost. Installed a piggy back fuel pump and 39# injectors plus a colder range spark plug. Dyno tuned to 491 rwhp, 447ft# torque.
You definitely need to do some checking around on that car before going hog wild on the loud pedal. Check for larger injectors, should be 24 or 30lbm. Replace the plugs with ones that you know are 1 heat range colder than the OE plugs. Put a fuel pressure gage on the injector rail, you should have ~40psi at idle and increasing 1psi of fuel pressure for every 1psi of boost. Replace the existing thermostat wit ha 180F thermostat.
If you need any help with all this, PM me and I'll give you a hand since I'm nearby.

I have the same fuel pump with my KB setup, and +1 on the fuel press. guage. Never heard of Mod House but its important that you get your car back on the dyno and be careful with it in the meantime. You can call they guy who worked on my car if you like and he can dyno tune it for you. I see your in Gastonia, might be closer for ya since he is just right outside of Charlotte.

Thank you all for the replies I just got back from the Clemson and USC game at Clemson we (Clemson) won 31 to 14 it was a good one. Anyway I already do have 42lb injectors and I had my mechanic look at my car for me before I bought it he said that it has all the necessary mods for the supercharger other than the fuel pump and a boost gauge but I don't really need the gauge but that it would be nice to have. Bluestreak03 thank you for the offer to help I may take you up on that but right now I am selling my 02 maxima to my sister and an going to buy a 4cylender auto for my work car. I just got a new job as a sales rep for Miller and I drive like 100 miles a day. After I get the DD car replaced then I can take the stang to get the Dyno and all that just can't do it now cause it is all I have to drive.

Yeah I am taking it easy on her right now but that is pretty hard to not light up those 315s in the rear

How much was the tune? Those are some pretty nice numbers you ended up with I hope I have some good luck too

Yeah, what he said. Personally I would definitely want a boost gauge, its good to know exactly what's going on when you're running boost.

Fuel pressure and corresponding boost pressure are absolute MUST know things for a boosted application. If you start winding that thing up and your fuel pressure isn't going up, you're begging for problems. But you don't know if it's happening unless you have the gages in the car. I also had a AEM wideband A/F ratio meter on mine mounted on the steering column in line of sight with the tach so I could watch it. Some people called it overkill to have all those, but too much info is very rarely a bad thing as long as you know what to make of it all.

Will it be OK to get 3.73 gears and exhaust upgrades after the Dyno Tune or will those alter the tune and make me need a new one? Thanks for all your help guys I'm going to call my Dyno guy this week. Can I add those gauges later after the tune as well.

The exhaust will alter the tune, how much dpends on what you change from/to. The gears shouldn't alter it too much, but its a good idea to get it tuned whenever you change your setup with a supercharger, a small problem can do big damage. You can add the gauges whenever you want, but the sooner the better, if you're making a pass and the fuel drops or the boost gets too high for example, you want to know about it right away so you can lift and avoid damage. Like bluestreak said, this isn't a social setting, there is no such thing as too much information as long as you know what the info means.

I'm not sure what you mean by your question, this forum is a social setting, I was referring to using a car under boost, you put a lot of stress on the parts and the more info you have about what exactly is going on, the better.

Oh yeah this forum is a social setting I though you meant I was asking to many questions or something I diddn't know sorry if I sounded like a jerk I diddn't mean to but I never had a boosted car before neither do I know too much about them but how is that not a social setting I just don't get it.
