what is the wieght difference between the 2004 v6 angine and tranny and the v8 engine and tranny ..... I'm going with a v8 swap and a guys building me a 300 hp 4.6 and for a lil extra he can use an aluminum block and shave some wieght so my question is well it be enough to were I don't have to change out the shocks and stuff

if you look around at the junk yards maybe you can find a 05 and up stang that may be wrecked if you can get the 3 valve 4.6 out of one of them the 05 and up 4.6 liters are all aluminum block and heads and they have 300 stock hp
