Default bad problem on my GT

well, i was removing my idler pulley today, and the shaft it goes on came off with it, the bolt that holds the pulley on still goes on, so it works, and i re attached the shaft with some permatex ultra black, and its holding together great

but I'm guessing, the only real permanent fix is new heads? since the shaft is part of the block?

if so, I'm getting those new trick flow ones

The shaft should be able to be removed from the head like a stud, I've never seen bare heads with a shaft sticking out of them and the heads aren't side to side specific, but if you want an excuse to get the new trickflows disregard the above statement and let me know how they work out.
