Default 2001 dyno numbers

i have an 01 gt 5 speed i am looking to but stage two headds with stage 2 comp cams in it. It already has 373 gears, jlt intake, catted x pipe, slp cat back, 75 mm throttle body and plenum, and a custom ssct tune. I will also be installing 24 lb injectors, shorty headers, 90 mm mass air, under drive pullies, and getting it retuned. the place im getting the heads and cams from said with a good tune it should put around 340 rwhp and a little more foot pounds. Does this sound righ. it was dyno as it is and put 275 horse and 310 foot pounds. Any thoughts thanks.

Those are pretty good numbers for what is done to it. I say 340rwhp might be just a tad high, i would say around the 320-330rwhp mark. Where you referring to the Patriot stage 2 heads? If i were you i would wait for the Trickflow heads to come out...you will gain a lot more hp with those since they are completely reassembled.

That depends on what they do to prep the heads and the specs on the cams, you can get a ton of power from the right cams/heads combo, but you need to choose carefully, a high rpm race setup sucks on the street. I agree with kenne bell though, wait for the trick flow heads, they are the only complete redesign rather than reworked stock castings and will outflow anything around now.

Steer clear of Patriot heads. I also recommend waiting for the TFS heads to hit the street. They're pricey, but they also claim that their test car made 400 horses with the heads. Previously, that realm was reserved for high end race N/A motors and cars with power adders.

Is it just heads TFS is coming out with or is it a head/ cam combo? I may want to get the heads later, but have great cams already...

I think it's just heads, not even sure if it comes loaded with valvetrain.
