if you mean getting off the line, and its stock, then foot brake it. hold the brake down and give it a lil' gas, but not enough to move it. then use it like a clutch when you want to go and let off the brake and floor the gas.
Get it properly tuned and it will shift faster and never miss a gear. Thats the advantage of having an auto over a stick. Do not shift it in the gears manually. Put it into "D", take off the TCS and slam the gas. enjoy

wow i had no clue! i was under the impression that when you floored it, O/D would put it into D1 then D2 and then finally D3 automatically. im gonna go do a couple laps around my neighborhood now!
