I've got a '96 GT 'vertible and could really use about an inch more leg room. My question is, is it possible to move the existing seat rails back an inch? If not, are the '99 seat rails a direct replacement?
I think they make track extensions for our seats. Not sure though.

check out eBay, I've seen seat rail extensions on there that are supposed to give you 4" extra inches...that's the cheap solution, the expensive one is custom seats with different rails that will slide all the way back to touch the back seat...if you need, I can look up the company.
