what is the easiest way to mount a front license plate? I have no mounting holes in my front bumper.

Temporarily you can tie it with plastic straps. I've asked Ford and they offer no mounting brackets for it. All you can do is drill holes in your bumper. I live in Texas and here you are supposed to use both plates, so what I've thought about doing is finding two good solid metal plates, attaching them to the bottom of the bumper, bending them around the bumper in an L shape and mounting the plate to the vertical part. That way if you want to remove the front plate for show, the unsightly holes will at least be at the bottom of your bumper where nobody can see them. Let me know if it works out for you.

i used self taping screws but i had a flat spot to mount to.

Bought my car in PA (no front plates) I hated the idea of screwing up that front bumper. 1st Mod I bought was this bracket.

hey man you live very close to me!! but anyways try getting a very bright light and looking on the backside of your bumper. you might see two places where it looks like someone has filled in the holes. i've had/seen a few cars like that but also many that do not have it.

Here in NJ you need both front and back license plates-it's mandatory. Even dealers have to comply. So, Ford has to have made a bracket for your car at some time. They may not be available any more from your dealer-I'd check if I were you, but they HAD to have been available for those states that required 2 plates. i also live in texas and recently bought the terminator bumper for my 04 gt. im deployed right now so i hadnt really thought about the front plate since im not swapping until i get back. I've seen some people use small suction cups on the inside of the windshield. thats propably going to be my temp. fix

In TX, the suction cups on the windshield kinda works. The law actually states that your license plate must be at the front most of the car. The windshield usually works unless the cop is a *****. But it does give the cop a reason to pull you over. But the highend cars don't have front plates and get away with it .
