has it been sittin for a while? try hooking the cables back up to it while the other car is running and let it charge for like 10 minutes could be as simple as a bad battery

Sounds like it's time for a new battery.

I didnt start it since friday day.... =( my chances at trying it again are gone...it was a friend helping me... so maybe its just the battery ..since it would start with the other cables???

I had the same issue a few months ago, right as it started to get cold.

Bought a new battery, and all is well!

I have to agree with these guys: prob the battery. I know when it's cold out, it's harder for a batt to start the car... cuz that's what I'm experiencing right now (damn PA winters!).

The best thing to do is to let your car run for 10-15 mins in the morning: this warms up the car to operating tempurature, helps melt off the ice and snow, and most importantly, charges your batt so you don't have the problem you are experiencing...

Good luck, hope you can get someone to jump-start for ya again!
