how do you install the triple pillar gauge the right way? does anybody know? i have a 99 mustang

It's the full pillar or the piece that goes over the stock pillar?

it is the full pillar with three pods transmission temperature, air ratio, and oil pressure are the gauges

Did you try taking the stock pillar out and then popping that one in? i've been using the SOS pods for the past few cars and they work great.

yeah i still have the stock pillar in my trunk well i have them working but i don't want them working only when the head lights are working

When the headlights are working? The power wires for the gauges, did you tap that in your headlight source? Should only do that for the wire for the light source of the gauges. You'll have to look for a wire under the dash that has power only when the ignition is on.

i just recently read an awesome write up on how to install and wire a pillar mounted guage pod. ill let you know if i can find it.
