i heard they were pretty reliable, like within .1 but i've also heard they are like .5 off, it would be cool to have someone run at the track and then with the g-tech

I might be able to get my work to let me do that. I just have to get away to the track, then we'll see. It's gonna be a while though. I wanna get the SC all setup and done before I go again.
my g-tech is on its way, ordered it last week
plugs into lighter and you put in the vehicle's weight and all set, just push the button and you can get your times.
just take pictures so everyone will believe you !
Originally posted by 1Sicgt No, don't take it to the track, take it to your nearest industrial block. Line up next to someone with Alot of power. Jump the luanch, as soon as you hit 2nd, throw your flashers on and get off the gas. Proceed to talk mad isht about the other guy becuase you "pulled" him hardcore yo!
I havent had a good laugh in a while now. Thanks!

I bought a 01 mineral grey gt last fall and the 1st money I spent was on the g-tech (comp plus). I don't know how accurate it is, but it does seem to work well. The more I practiced launching, the faster I got. Then a Hurst shifter cut almost .2 off the 1/4. My latest is 4:10 gears, which I can't get to hook up. But my trap speed is a lot higher in the 1/4 now, so I feel it is pretty accurate. This is a must for me because I live around 100 miles from the nearest track.

It's 207 miles round trip to Sacramento Raceway for me.
i have a 97 cobra...0 cats-x-pipe-flowmasters-410 gear 5-speed it ran an 8.60 in the 1/8 60 foot times 1.99 doesnt that seem slow...on street tires also reaction times about 530???
the 60 foot time seems really slow but that is a pretty kick ass 1/8 for those mods..
I luck out.... I am an hour and 1/2 from bradenton speedway... 2 hrs from moroso speedway... and 30min from immokalee speedway (1/8)

I sell em at work. G-tech is what it is. They have a new one and the older one that everyone is prolly familiar with. They newest one they have out now is pretty impressive with all it's features. It's gonna run you $250
i got one of the older g-techs and its cool to mess around with but its 1/4 mile time is a little slow, but then your not dissapointed when you go to a track!!!!
