Good point I would bracket race and my dial in time would be say 14.10 during the day time trials I would run 14.20. Then late in the evening after dark usually in the semi finals( if I made it that far) I would run a 13.89 and break out. My point is cool tempature really makes a difference. WE run at a track that is 6000 ft altitude they tell me that each 1000 ft = a loss of 2% Later Dennis
defintely well put...out here in Hawaii our times are slower than on the mainland (sometimes) and the track isn't the greatest, but I put forth my all and take it to the track every weekend. Now I go more to get my R/T down and practice does make perfect... and a cool engine does help too

Jade nice times..Is your stang stock geared? Is the *Blue Button* A NOS Button? Just curios on how you got those times with the stated power numbers.
Thanks

Cobra???? You will have to find out!
No, don't take it to the track, take it to your nearest industrial block. Line up next to someone with Alot of power. Jump the luanch, as soon as you hit 2nd, throw your flashers on and get off the gas. Proceed to talk mad isht about the other guy becuase you "pulled" him hardcore yo!

The only true way to find out is to TAKE IT TO THE TRACK
i do agree with mana however there is a somewhat reliable alternative for those who dont have time or access to a track. unless youre just too embarassed to take your car being that you know youll run in the 16's lol
im sure many of you are aware of the windshield stick on HP reading applications which are based on inertial readings and some are bull$h!t however, some are quite accurate.
if you cant get a track, get one
