Ok, I have a 98 GT Convertible and I am trying to install a billet grille. But, to install the grille, I have to remove the pony emblem. The emblem is attached to some king of bracket, and I'll have to remove the bracket to get the grille on, then I have to take the emblem and stick it on the grille....whew...my problem is I don't know how to take the bracket off. The fasteners look like those "star" head bolts, except there is a pin in the center. I know, bad description. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

they usually just screw out should be 2 or 4 bolts if remember

Those fasteners are made that way to accept only a "star" shaped "allen" wrench with a hole in it. If yr auto parts store doesn't sell that wrench, they prob'ly sell a set of similar license plate bolts that will come with that "special" wrench included.

You can go to american muscles website and look in the sectios where they sell emblems, there is a how-to write up that describes it in very good detail, it'll make it a snap to do.
