Nice car! Did you end up with the auto or manual??

Btw... a decent run on a well prepped track should net you at least a mid 13 for a M5 Mach, the autos are a bit slower due to the non forged crank and lower revving ability.

well i ended with the Auto but it runs really good but i can't wait till i start putting some stuff in there..cause shes going to be a sleeper

You should get 4.10's and a tuner to start out with

ok quick question, i've heard from multiple sources that a stock 99-04 gt is capable of a 14.0, and yet many instances on this thread have suggested that a lot of mach 1's haven't made it out of the 14's and most are only running high 13's. Now i'm not saying the gt is faster or as fast cause the horsepower numbers don't lie, but can someone explain this?

Wow, this thread just won't die... 6 years old and going!

The reason track numbers vary so much is the driver mod... if you put a good driver in a street car, they'll beat a crappy driver in a prostocker. Practice will pick you up more time than any other thing you can do.
