Question Shocks, Struts & Springs

Over the weekend, I just installed the Mac Catback. First of all, for all of you out there that dis Mac, maybe the Stang is not the car for you. This catback is sweeeeeet. I can't believe that my GT sounds this powerful. For the first time, I actually love stopping at a red light so I can revve the engine.

Anyway, my mechanic suggests installing Tokico, shocks, struts & springs in my car. He said that it should lower the car 1.5 inches and I will not have to trade ride comfort. Now, here's the problem, including installation, he's charging $600.00.

Is $600.00 to much to pay? Also, has anyone ever used Tokico shocks, struts & springs?

I run Tokico struts and shocks, I like them, and if that includes an alignment, good price, however, I dont think that they make springs

shocks/struts/springs?

That's a great idea Bklynstanger if you want great handling.
I would look into KYB shocks and struts and it's you do springs
I would definitly look into the Eibach pro kit because they are
the perfect 1.5 inch drop for any Mustang and are quality
spring's you can trust! John is correct Tokico doesn't make
lowering/performance spring's.Your mechanic is mistaken on
that one.

Tokico or Bilstein for shocks/struts. You definitely want to switch out the stock springs at the same time that you do shocks/struts. I'll second the motion for the Eibach pro-kits.

I have Steeda Sport Springs on mine and Tokico HP shocks and struts. Really improved the handling and looks of the car. Check out my album here to see some pics.

Yeah I helped the guy install mine (he has air tools and I don't). It was amazing and scary how with just a few bolts the suspension just falls apart.
