There is no factory 5.4L. Except of course the Cobra R.

It could be a misprint on the window sticker- they used to misprint those things all the time. Can you take a pic of the motor?

to be hosnt i dont think every one should should tell this guy that he is wroung with out knowing
the car could be a spec order ford was doing wierd things in those days , my bullitt was order from the factory with 373 gears and my dad order a 05 gt with a 6 speed and 373's and i have know idea way ... and my good buddy bought a 03 cobra that was order form the factory with out a supercharger ??? so it could be ... but it could be a swap to i just think we need to keep a open mind

I'm not doubting that it has a 5.4L, I just want to make sure that you look the car over very well and make sure it is what the guy is telling you.

I do highly doubt that it was a factory installed motor from Ford, very unlikely. I would really like to see pictures of this engine and car, and/or documents. If indeed it has a 5.4L with factory peices, that would be huge.

The intake manifold would have to be specific to that engine, and more than likely some other parts may be different, and I would be very interested to see them!

from what i've seen of 5.4 swaps it would be really easy to tell once you pop the hood if its a 4.6 or 5.4
