I am picking up a Mustang with a factory 5.4 in it tomorrow. He only want $6000.00 for it because he has alot of bills that he is behind in. The problem is that I can't find the blue book value on it.
Unless it's really a 2000. And it's red with a large spoiler. Ha.

The Cobra R's did have a 5.4, a DOHC producing 385 hp.

01 Gts had 4.6s... and the only 5.4s where made in 00 wich where cobra Rs. wich are about 50k. so i suggest you do some research. nontheless 01 with 5.4 swap.. 6k would be a good price if she works good. run an OBDII scan and make sure its not f'ed up. GL though bro

For sure, check it out, a 5.4L swap needs to be tuned afterwards, drive it around and make sure its a 5.4L and now just wrong information. Try to find out if it has PI heads also, a NPI headed 5.4L will be slow, a stock PI 4.6L would probably leave it behind.
What year GT is it? If its a 99-04, even if it has a 4.6L, then 6K isn't a bad price as long as its in ok shape.

I think that he means it is a Ford 5.4, not a mmr or other manufactures engine. I would go over that swap with a fine tooth comb, you do not want to spend 6k on a mustang that either doesn't run or doesn't run right.

Its all black, factory 5.4 2001. I have the invoice and sells window stickers. It does say special order or anything. And know snake. Called the dealer where it has been getting it serves and everything is correct. I went ahead and got it. Did the title transfer and it came up 2001 with a 5.4.
