Default Tail light film tint

Was looking on Ebay and they have a tail light tint kit for 94-98 mustangs. It looks good but I wonder if it is legal and does it allow less light to pass through it? If anyone has this on their car I am just wondering if it is worth buying.

Found this for kentucky. You would have to check your state laws.
Personally I don't like them because I want the driver behind me to see my brake lights at all times.

Yes, for sure check your state laws for tinting, you might try some vinyl tinting vs the darker covers, check out Lamin-X.com

I have to agree with that. It is not legal out here and I am thinking the same for most states.
