hey there name is Aj, brand new to the site, so i wasnt real sure where to post this thread at so i picked the cobra area because i know people with cobras are fimiliar with the 5.4 dohc motor either because of a swap or just because of the close relastionship to the cobras dohc 4.6..so anyways i just picked up a brand new ford racing 5.4 engine. the engine will be droped into a striped down 2004
mustang just so every1 knows. i already know the way were goin build it but any smart builder knows it good to always ask 4 the opions and thoughts of others. so far i know were goin all forged internals, not sure what heads to go with, i know the navi heads when ported are ran on alot of the bigg power 5.4's but i was curious about the gt500 heads and any others they may be great as well. as 4 the manifold i know the boss 290 is bigg but expensive. im probally goin go with the sullivan, other wise the karkraft. i know this doesnt name everything needed but this covers some of the basic. it will be ran with a blower and nos. any ideas or thoughts will be greatly appriciated. i am definitly trying to become part of the AFM community. so like i said the names AJ, thanks to any1 who reads.
