Any Suggestions? i need lowering help

i want to lower my 98 cobra front and back about 2in. will cutting the springs do the trick does anyone have any recommendations

Cutting the springs is not a good way to lower the car. You'll compromise the integrity of the spring.

not to mention it being 1 hell of a bumpy ride...my buddy did that and it sucked especially as a DD.

88' 4 banger swapped to 92' 5.0 HO bored .030, e303 cam, 600cc edelbrock carb, ford racing blue fuel pump, weiand intake, BBK longtube headers, BBK o/r h pipe, 40 series flowmasters, ford racing suspension, T5, 373's and a few other things

things in the making...T5 "Z" tranny, edelbrock RPM heads, scorpion 1.7 rr, 750 demon carb, and a procharger at 9lbs

Someone before asked the same question.
And someone answered: You have to take the springs out to cut them, just go ahead and replace them.

I don't think so, I think that's just a cheap way to lower your car, but ain't gonna work...

bad idea, these cars already have low spring rates. and if you cut them, it will be low but not perform right. spend the money on some good springs. you'll get what you pay for. id go H&R SS springs. cheap, popular and great performance and looks. steeda isnt bad either
