If you have a local trim shop I bet it wouldn't be too much for them to re-cover your rear seat in a similar material in black to match your new front seats. Unless you were wanting a seat back there you could go with a black delete kit as well and save a few pounds.
Just some thoughts...

yea i guesse thats what im gunna have to do... now my other dilema. factory specs say 225 hp... nowhere near enough. i want aroun 350 hp and cant afford a $5,000 turbo kit.. i already ordered a superchips tuner. what mods would you guys recomend?i got about $2,000 to work with
With 1k you can buy a used supercharger on ebay and with the other 1k buy the pieces that are missing and get it tuned a supercharger is the best hp/$ with that you will be pushing around 300-330... But if you decide to go the other way you will have to pay more..
one of your best bets would probably be a pi swap and some gears. if you have the cash i would actually go with a more aggressive cam and see if you can have the heads ported + polished as well. and with whatever leftover cash you have left you could go with an intake, tb, exhaust and the bolt on list goes on.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails
the car already has cervini's ram air hood/intake
i figure i should be running about 300 hp
The exhaust is a good choice but isn't really going to net you any HP - it will just sound awesome. The weak link in our 96-98s is the mid pipe. The factory midpipes have 6 cats! You might start looking at a hi-flow (2 cat) setup through BBK or Bassani or something. That will keep the right amount of backpressure but open up your exhaust quite a bit.
300 is still a tall order with the mods listed above. I'd picture you more in the 250ish range at the crank.
I'd add gears next. 3.73s or 4.10s to get you into your powerband quicker. We have have revving cars than the 5.0s but that pushes our powerband up a bit as well.
Keep us posted!
