Default 20 inch cobra r wheels

i know alot of people say that 20s would look ugly on a mustang, most of these 20 inch rims have some crazy design that usually dosent look to good on a stang, but i was wondering has anyone seen the 20 in cobra wheel on a mustang and if so how did it look. I didnt know they had a 20 inch cobra rim until i was on ebay. also with that big of rim on a mustang what suspension mods would you need.

I believe VOODOO performance on ebay who has 20inch Cobra R's the pic they had of them on a mustang looked sweet, but I don't know if theres anything special you have to do so you don't run into probs with rubbing.

I dont see how it will clear, the largest stock wheel was an 18 on the 2000 Cobra R and that was a race only idea, for street use, people have found out that 17's provide the best mix of performance and compfort, I will never have any vehicle with 20's due to the harsh ride that they deliver

I had seen a Mustang a while back with 19 inch Thrust II's. Looked dang good too. I would think 20's would be pushing it though.

bro if you put 20's on your car please dont drive it in the rain or try and punch it off the line, you think 17 and 18 in tires have probs hooken up, 20's would be a nightmare!!!

275-30-20's would be hella high in price. Dont even want to think about it. Get 18's and be done with it.

This is my 2006 with 20" Cobra wheels. The ride isn't as bad as you'd think either.

IMO oppinion 20's look horrible on mustangs. They belong on suv's and cadillacs not mustangs. Just doesnt look right to me

im w/ every one else 20's are stupid as hell on a mustang...just look at the dif. between mine and someone else w/ 20's...i hate the way a mustang sits on 20's...plus you loose performance...and who in there right mind buys a mustang to make it slower?

If you want to keep performance in mind I wouldn't go any bigger than 18's with the new edge SN-95 Mustang (1999-2004) but the S197 (2005-present) I'd say don't go any bigger than 20's.

I just purchased an '06 Roush Mustang with 20in Cobras. I found this forum looking for the wheels that are on my Mustang. Still haven't found them, but they're sharp looking. Problem is all the Cobra wheels I've come across are single spoke. Mine are high polished chrome with five wide spokes that have 3 thin spokes in each. The Cobra is black in the center. Ever seen them?

I think that 20s are a little big for a mustang. If you are going for a more "ricer" look (why?) they might work with the car lowered. But for most of us performance oriented drivers, 18 is plenty big. I say go with the 18X10 in the back and 18X9 in the front. They will look awesome and give great performance.
