I have just purchased a 96 mustang 4.6 that has had a minor front end collision. It came with new fenders and a hood for a cobra which fit right on. I have been told that the headlights are different for the mustang and the cobra models..the hood and fenders appear the same on both...Are the headlights different due to the grill and bumper? one or the other..I have stock mustang headlights and would like to use them...what bumper/grill should I get? This mustang is going to be re-sold when fixed, so I am looking for the most cost effective solution with the parts that I currently have

Cobra headlights and GT are interchangeable so are every other part from Cobra to GT body wise...you can go with stock GT grill or Cobra, for bumber I'd go with Cobra, it looks better and would match the hood...fyi, I have Cobra headlights on my 1995 GT, they look much better than the stock glass ones and tend to resist yellowing better
