things in the making...T5 "Z" tranny, edelbrock RPM heads, scorpion 1.7 rr, 750 demon carb, and a procharger at 9lbs
For the cost of doing that I'd go twin turbo, much easier to make fit and hp in the stratosphere. But that lightning takes the cake for the cool factor.

That hunk of junk? Yeah, well I've made a few special modifications to that yellow 99 Gt, it makes the Kessel run in 12 parsecs and eats turbo japs and poops chevy's
Wow I bet that thing will get down and dirty boy. And what a sleeper, it looks like a stock Lightning, that thing was bad ass. I couldnt imagine that kind of low end torque with 2 twin screws pushing out 18psi each.

I have seen several Cheby products with both turbos and blowers on them (one 64 Nova was actually a very clean install, twin turbos tucked underneath, and a huge huffer sitting up top).
Twin turbos would be my pick.
BUT the Europeans have come up with tiny little superchargers (high efficiency Rotel units less than half the size of the usual VorTech - some were just a little larger than a man's fist). I saw an article about a VW with 4 of these little boogers mounted.
