Bought an 03' GT 4.6L that unfortunately is an automatic.
I was wondering if a superchip would give it the added umpff! off the line say compared to the same car with a standard tranny?

IF they told you that the chip will give you more than 10hp yes cuz auto's loss 10rwhp more to the wheels but you may also want go get 4.10 gears for better acceleration and a tune.. and Welcome to AFM BUDDY..

Tuners make a huge difference on an auto due to the shift schedule and shift hardness changes, along with the fuel and spark changes that 5 speed guys gets also. So while you may not pick up more measurable horsepower, the actual gain going down the street or track is great.

superchips suck... dont waste your money or time. I say go with a SCT X3 or SF3 from americanmuscle.com. And if you really want to wake that thing up go grab some 4.10 gears too.
