this is probably alot simpler then i think but i just got my first mustang/car and i want new headlight but i dont know how to takethem out. i have an idea but when i took off the flap i almost lost a piece that i didnt know would come out and i dont want to lose anythong so if youcould please guide me i'd appreciate it. thanks
www.americanmuscle.com has some good videos/ pdf's on swapping headlights as they sell aftermarket versions. I'd check out one of the videos there and see if that helps.

thanks i checked but the video is for 99-04 mustangs. ive also looked onine and on google for help but didnt have much luck.
I don't think there's much difference internally between the 94-98 and 99-04 headlight assemblies but I could be wrong. I'll keep looking around for you...

ok thanks alot. there is one difference that i think is the reason i cant figure it out is that the 94-98 the headlight is on 2 different parts while the 99-04 headlights are one solid headlight
