i ran a 15.1@90.34 and he ran a 15.35@91.68

the prelude has some work done to it and was going for broke doing the run. the mustang was not launching it all out or powershifting it as its his only wheels right now. I told him break and you will be walking for awhile..... the mustang is my sons..

my best run was a 15.00. i havnt run it all out as my dad said i will be walkin if something is to happen haha

my friend told me his friend's prelude beat a 5.0 so im glad i saw mustang get its title back.

Depends on the year of the 5.0 the older the slower the newer the faster...

you can run it all out for a while before something breaks lol i run mine almost very other wendsday night. 15 flat is pretty good for stock

Where are you shifting? That trap seems kind of low. My '98 trapped in the mid 90's.

The Preludes are quick. I got walked by one in my '95 GT Convertible, which was probably a mid 15 second car at best.

i was shifting between 5300 and 5500. probably could have took it a little higher. i have my heads and everything to do the swap right in the garage. how did your car run with the pi heads

Trying shifting it lower. Anything above 5100 rpms is just noise. I think I had my best results shifting between 4900-5100.

I ran 14.5s @ 96.xx all day long pre-headswap. After the headswap with the stock 2.73s it ran 13.9s @ 102 mph all day long. These were box stock heads/cams and intake, stock manifolds, no tune.

thanks ill try that next time i go up there. this was the first time i ran it so i havent really figured everything out yet. i wasnt really launching it hard just easin out the clutch
