Default 01 gt new steering wheel

is it possible to replace the stock steering wheel in an 01 gt for a nice simple just 3 spoke wooden steering wheel. Like older cars have, like the steering wheel in gone in 60secs almost.
has anyone else replaced the steering wheel in their cars? does it still look good? the stock steering wheel has like the same shape as the dash and steering column so i'm wondering what it would look like with a skinnier more see through steering wheel.
and then what about the airbag? obviously the wood steering wheel wouldn't have an airbag in it, is it illegal to remove an airbag from a car? and does removing the airbag set off some kind of alarm or light in the car?

you might have a air bag light but that can be bypassed. if you have to get it inspected ( move out of state or sell to someone out of state ) no air bags is a big no no.

i would imagine you can. check around on google for some kits or something

wear a seat belt lol

airbags are no problem unless you sell it or register it out of state

but if you ever move out of state, take the coil out and get it inspected as a non running car.

then alot will slide hehe
