Talking So glad I finally got a somewhat decent 1/8 mile e/t!

I raced at Moulton Dragway in Moulton, Alabama and I haven't been getting that great of times, but I finally got my car into the 9.2s. My first pass of the night was a 9.349 an 78.01 mph. My second pass was a 9.269 at 78.89 mph. My third pass was a 9.211 at 79.11 mph. I believe after a little more race experience I believe I can get the car in the late 8's as is. This is my first Mustang and I'm just really stoked about my car. It's my baby lol!

If you want to get a better E.T., you stage your car roll in shallow. By shallow I mean, when you roll in and light up the top light just roll in easy til you flicker the bottom bulb. Light the bottom bulb, but stop just after it flickers then lights. It will give you a better E.T. and trap speed, but hurt your reaction time. When you roll in deep, you better your reaction time but hurt your E.T. and trap speed. When your running an 8 second car, it really doesn't matter, Mike. SCT Tuner.
