Default timing chain cover

do have to remove the engine from the car to remove the timing chain cover and is it difficult to remove

no you do not need to pull the engine. just remove front accessories front cover bolts and the bolts in the front of the oil pan that go up into the cover.

there's a ticking sound comin from the cover but the car still runs and drive would i have to change the chain or adjust it back in place cause its only rattling

probably just need new nylon guides that the chains ride on. they can wear out quick in soe cases.
