I know we all love our mustangs but im just curious...how are everyones driving records??? ever since i got mine 2 years ago ive been doing nothing but getting into damn trouble with my 2004 roush im kinda considering selling or trading

The last ticket I got was for driving home to fast to get the title of my old car to trade in for my current one . I have had no tickets in the last 6 years..

I've had two tickets in almost 15 years of driving. One was for speeding (77 in a 65 on the NY State Thruway) and the other was for making a left turn through a traffic light where I didn't see the "No Left Turn" sign until I was already starting to turn. The most recent one was in 2003, so I'm in that six year range as well.

I usually don't speed (more than 5-8mph over, at least) or get too crazy. I'll really open it up, and push it through turns on curvy roads once in awhile, but that's more of an occasional fun thing rather than a habit.

This Saturday I took a run around some of our back roads, and opened her up to 110mph or 115mph on an open stretch of road.

On the other hand, you have some people that are consistently driving 10-20mph over, and one of those folks driving a cop-magnet car is just begging for trouble!

I've never had a ticket in any of our Stangs. My last speeding ticket was in 1998 in a rental car.

I guess I'm due.

Since I got my drivers license over 5 years ago I have only gotten a warning for doing 62 in a 45. I got that about 3 weeks after getting my license and have been careful ever since.

I got a ticket for 94 in a 50 almost 6 years ago. Could have lost my license, but the cop was very cool about it, since I was straight with him, and had just gotten back from Iraq a couple days earlier, and we were one of the 1st to get back from over there at the beginning of the war. He did write me a ticket for 94 in a 50, but no reckless driving or anything else. A ticket and I was on my way. He could have taken me to jail!!!!
I definately paid that one without going to court, I didn't want the judge to take my license, and it just showed up as speeding 10mph or more over on my driving record. Whew!!!

I learned my lesson for sure on that one, and haven't gotten a ticket since. I'm very cautious driving now, and rarely go more than 5mph over the speed limit anymore.

lol, wow umm. my first mustang V6 i got a $700 speeding ticket for 72 in a 35. umm got one for drag racing. got one for rolling through a turn on red, and now w/ my current V8 i got a 10mph over on the highway, bs. but thats it!!! HAHA

I haven't had a ticket in almost 20 years (after getting 5 of them in my first 5 years of driving), but just got one a few weeks ago. I truely just wasn't paying attention and got nailed for doing 70 in a 55. In NC there is a thing called Prayer for Judgement where you admit guilt, pay court costs, but nothing goes on your record unless you get another ticket in the next 3 years. Haven't tried it yet, I have my court date in a couple of weeks.

dont get rid of it!!i get pulled over a lot for the stupidist things....license plate lights a few times....other junk like that. BUT, i did just get into a little bit of trouble and added an extra 4 pts on my license....insurance hasnt gone up yet but i am sure it will go up a lot....which sucks. i cant afford high insurance so im thinking everything possible to keep mine. i feel ya!!

Ha the record on what? my newly reinstated liscense??..I just got it back after a 6 mo. suspension, I got pulled for having firends sitting on parts of my car not meant for seating( truck w. top down) and m.i.p alcohol, the trunk they were sitting on had atent & 48 pack in it. THe cops out here in TX dont play.

I seen a roush sittng at Pet Supplies last week, I couldnt help but to go sit in front of it and drool for a few minutes. Don't sell.

My record has been clean for a little of ten years now but I've also got my license suspended when I was young and didnt think it would happen to me!

I dont really speed anymore but I do like to get to my desired speed fast lol. But it never fails when I'm in my Mustang seems like there is a cop following me over cars that go speeding by me.

dude i drove for 2 years never got a ticket got my mustang now im around 13 or 14.. ive had street racingf, wreckless driving, careless driving, to fast for condition, 55 in a 75, 35 in a 55, slick tires, seat belt, spectating a street race, and a hand full of warnings! i love my car and would never consider selling because of pigs! hahah they cant catch me any ways.. i say keep it..

ive been pulled for something stupid like '' tag light'' and head light bout 3 times they follow me in my home town cause they know who i am! it seems everytime the cops bust street racers im there..haha so they watch me hard!
